Chef’s Note: You don’t need to get crazy on Valentine’s Day to show someone you love them. Wake them up with this really simple coffee (or chai) recipe….and a Kiss.
Makes 2 servings: Carbohydrates 3 grams per cup
- 1 large cup of rich coffee or chai
- ¼ cup low fat or Skim milk (2% will work but whole milk or cream will not)
- 1- tsp. sugar substitute or equivalent
- Ground cinnamon and Hershey’s Special Dark cocoa powder for topping
How to prepare the recipe:
Heat the milk until it just starts to steam. Remove from the heat and using an immersion blender, hand held mixer, or wire whisk, whip the milk until it gets VERY frothy. Spoon the milk over your coffee and sprinkle with Cinnamon and the cocoa powder. For chai, sprinkle with cinnamon and ginger.
