These grisly images by Ogilvy & Mather Bangkok, were created to highlight the dangerous impact of diabetes, by showing the real danger of consuming too much sugar.
The series of print posters showing hideous wounds made out of sweet treats is called “Sweet Kills” and was created by Bangkok-based designer Nattakong Jaengsem.
The campaign was launched by the Diabetes Association of Thailand and is intended to make people think twice before eating too many sweets.
The message should especially resonate with people diagnosed with diabetes –a condition that may slow the healing process, causing more serious infections.
